The schemas use JSON Schema Draft 2020-12. Versioned schema sets are kept separate because a 1.0 document must be judged by 1.0 rules, not 1.1 rules.

Schemas cover document shape. Cross-file references, ZIP safety, uniqueness, Markdown structure, integrity, and other semantic rules are tested by the conformance runner.
